  DFB Pokal: Akpoguma Scores As Hoffeinheim Crash Out By Sampson Adedeji It was a mixed feelings for Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Kelvin Akpoguma on Tuesday night in the match involving his club Hoffeinheim and Greuther Furth, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Croatia International Kramaric opened the scoring for Hoffeinheim but Ernst netted the equalizer in the 26th minute. Meyerhofer put Furth ahead in the 46th minute, Akpoguma leveled the game for the host with a magnificent header in the 50th minute. All the efforts of both team to score the winning goal proved abortive and the game get into penalty shoot out. Nine penalties were taken by each team Furth scored 7 out of their 9 kicks, while Hoffeinheim scored 6 out of its 9 kicks, Akpoguma was among the player that scored their kicks. The game ended 6-7 on penalty shoot outs which means Hoffeinheim is out of this year DFB Pokal.
